Leisure World Mesa AZ is a large (610 acres)55+ community located near Southern and Power Roads in Mesa Arizona. Leisure World Mesa AZ opened in 1966 but most of the homes were built from the mid 70′s to the early 90′s. Choose from single family detached homes, patio homes, condominiums or duplexes. Homes range in size from under 1,000 square feet to approximately 3,000 square feet and offer any where from 1 to 3 bedrooms.

Many homes in Leisure World Mesa AZ also offer golf course or water views. Entry to this gated community is limited to residents and their guests by using any of the three gaurded gatehouses. There are currently about 8,500 people residing at Leisure World some full time, most part time.

The 18-hole “Championship” course at the Leisure World Country Club features 6,434 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 73 . The course rating is 69.2 and it has a slope rating of 115 on Bermuda grass.  The 18-hole executive course features 4,024 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 62 . The course rating is 59.1 and it has a slope rating of 91 on Bermuda grass. In addition to the golf courses there are 2 clubhouses, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, dining, bus transportation, medical center, pharmacy and full maintenance services.
