This is one of the less crowded beaches, situated at the southern end of Goa. Even during travel season of New Year. Famous by the name of turtle beach. One can enjoy a relaxing stay near by and can enjoy the local Konkani food.

Nikhil Johri — Google review

This beach is located in Southern part if Goa around 20 min away from Canacona. You can take the vehicles near the beach. This beach is very beautiful and during off season you will find hardly any people here.

Akshay Nevrekar — Google review

Best place for those who prefer very little to no crowd. I never thought i would see a beach in goa with literally not more than 4-5 people..Went for a beach sidewalk during the sunset and it was amazing just to hear the waves rattling sound amidst the peaceful surroundings..There are no beach side shacks nor any eateries and no water sports and that's y people don't prefer this place..

Nitin — Google review

If you would love some peace of mind in Goa, then this is one beach which is secluded and calmer. Very clean and well maintained. Please do not litter this beach as it was heartwarming to see such a clean beach in India

Sayujya Sajilal — Google review

One of the most beautiful beach of Goa.There is back waters here… if you want to swim there you can do it.We went during sun set. Loved this place. It was very calm and peaceful. It was very less Crowded…good to have peaceful time. One of the most picturesque beaches of Goa.Definitely recommend this place to visit.

Lomash Bidua — Google review

The most surreal beach, hidden gem.Least bit explored.Santosh restaurant as the name suggests is all about happiness and contentment.South end of the beach connects with the backwaters clad with few local fishing boats. The beach and the backwaters offer a divine experience to swim with the waves or without or just take a walk and enjoy the quiet.

Rahamat Ali — Google review

One of the cleanest beaches in south goa. You can watch both Sunrise(chill with vitamin D) and a fabulous sunset here without any rush. Here you can find no people and some localities will be walking with the dogs. This beach is highly recommended for chilling and jogging. Kindly don't throw the plastics and beer bottles after having them. You can witness the beauty of the beach in the pictures and videos attached with the review!

Amaresh Vp — Google review

Unexplored and beautiful beach. Go there at sunset time. You will love the view, but it's very far from main Goa but it's worth going there

Sadhna Tyagi — Google review

Very nice beach, famous for turtle nesting (though we could not see the turtles). It must be one of the cleanest beaches of India, and the sand there is very soft to touch.

Monika Agrawal — Google review

It is an extremely beautiful and secluded beach. I highly recommend going if you are looking so for some peace and quiet. You are going to get a beautiful sunset. So do plan on visiting in the evening. The beach is extremely clean with almost no one visiting this place. Since since turtle, nesting happens, here, there are no shacks or vendors present at the beach. That means it is extremely clean. We can spot starfishes and many kind of shells at the beach. Remember to carry water bottle or snacks because there are none at the beach.

Mudita YAdav — Google review

Very silent and soothing beach in south goa. this is one of the unique beaches where river meets sea. Perfect place to enjoy sunrise and sunset as its not at all crowded place.5 km from palolem beach.

Kunal Nevrekar — Google review

Beautiful beach with scenic view. It's very clean and maintained very well. It's the one of the beaches where you can find the Olive ridely turtles nesting. You get to see them here during their nesting period. The new highway connects you to this beach as real quick. Highly recommended.

Superb beach in south goa... try to reach at evening and enjoy sunset 🌇.... you also see here one side sweet water river and one side salt water 🌊 sea...

Vipul Chotaliya — Google review

This beach, located near the southernmost tip of Goa, is incredibly peaceful and secluded. The beach has been carefully developed to ensure the conservation of its natural beauty and serve as a safe haven for Olive Ridley turtles to lay their eggs.

Snehashis — Google review

Very row beach in South goa, there no such restaurant and any facilities, most of the people visit this beach for turtle 🐢, if you want to show turtle the December to march is the vest time.

Preetesh Anand — Google review

One of the best peaceful silent beach in Goa with hardly 10 peoples are on the beach. Currently there are no shacks there. Those who don’t like to prefer crowded beach, it’s place for them.

Kumar Harsh — Google review

A very beautiful and peaceful beach in South Goa. Also, Galgibaga Beach is popular for turtle nesting during the winter season. The beach is very clean, and so is the seawater. You can take a bath anytime during the day and beach security will keep a close eye to ensure safety. A must-visit beach for visitors to South Goa.

Palolem Beach is a serene and uncrowded stretch of white sand with calm waters, making it an ideal destination for couples and adventure seekers. Visitors can enjoy thrilling activities such as parasailing, scuba diving, kayaking, banana boat rides, and hot air balloon rides. The beach also offers a vibrant nightlife with silent disco music parties and chic casinos.

My best beach experience...it was so serene and beautiful. Not too commercial. It was a real vacation with no disturbance.Crowd was decent enough. One of the cleanest beaches in South Goa.There are some good places to eat at the main Street that takes you to the beach, fewer hotels or shaks on the actual beach though. The place has been less crowded since covid, but the people have still maintained the beach.I would recommend to visit the beach at evening. The only thing may put your mood off is the constant poking to visit the butterfly beach.Beautiful, serene and clean beach. Resorts on the beach line are pretty good. You can do kayaking at reasonable price. You can also go for boat rides to butterfly beach , dolphin site seeing and birdwatching at backwaters.

Sarthak Saxena — Google review

This beach is fascinating! The views are spectacular and the sunset is magnificent. A must visit for anyone in south Goa. The waters are nice and not too rough to swim. Coupled with the fact that this beach is away from the mainland makes it very serene without all the peddlers on other beaches. Good selection of bars and restaurants on the beach to enjoy a good night. Not too crowded, one can chill, and have a beer, and enjoy the evenings. Several cafes and bars available by the beach too.Car parking available near the beach entrance, and lots of beach stay options available around the entire beach periphery. At the end of the beach line, you can find rocks where one can hike to the other end and even find better and cheaper rooms and stays. If you are in South Goa, this place is definitely a must.

Arun Kumar — Google review

It’s huge and lots of good places to eat nearby. The beach is clean and you can go for boating, during monsoon all the water activities were closed. But you can still enjoy a walk on the soft sand.

Jeni Shivaji — Google review

Very cool and calm beach. Safe because of no immediate depth in sea water and also waves are not tidy. As most visitors prefer north Goa, crowd always be less. But rates for accommodation, food and services are little bit costly compared to North Goa.

Parashuram Karatagi — Google review

Such a pretty beach! It's a combination of blue, green and golden that makes this beach so pretty. The hills on the sides and the golden sand make this beach my favourite photography spot. During a low tide, usually in the evening we can walk across to the mangrove side and nearer to the reefs. I really enjoyed my stay here because this place has some good shacks, shopping experience and less crowds compared to central Goa. The beach also extends into the mangrove by the river making it a great spot for boating and bird watching. The nearby beaches are also lovely. Visit Cola, Agonda and Majorda beaches as well while you are there.

Sona Suzanne — Google review

One of the most beautiful beaches in South goa. Clean . The crowd is too good. Boating and kayaking is available to enjoy . We spent our afternoon here and really enjoyed the serenity of the beach

It's one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa. This beach is surrounded by mountains. It has very clean water and is the perfect place for swimming. Kids can enjoy it here and it's safe for kids. You must go on a boat ride from here. Also you can try kayaking here. Do not miss sunset at this beach.

We visited this beach in Goa for the first time and loved it the most. It is less crowded compared to north Goa beaches. There is changing rooms and shower option near beach. Good shacks and many water sports available. We did kayaking and boat visit to butterfly beach and honeymoon beach and it was a good experience. As part of boat service, they will just show butterfly beach sitting in the boat and let you get down in honeymoon beach. Both beaches are just casual small beaches, speciality is the boat ride experience.

Prajeesha P — Google review

This beach is one of the best beaches of South Goa. It has beautiful views from both left to right. On the left stands the hills and on the right side the sea water enters the land by creating a mangrove backwater in which boating is being done. The beach is clean on the left side but on the right side few narrow canals flow down and mix with the sea so it's a bit dirty. A large number of boats are present on the beach which are used for fishing during morning. Few shacks are present but not on the beach they are located just outside the beach as the water during high tide reaches the walls.

Very clean and flat Beach..... It is very good for families to enjoy the beach ..... Kids can play without any fear ..... for shopping a lot of options are there near the beach ...... only one problem is parking...... Very small roads ......

It seems like an international beach. It is a must to visit the beach.None of the North Goa beaches or even South Goa beaches stand anywhere. This beach has a very different vibe. One can do Kayaking here. This is a flat and very clean beach.

Beach is amazing and peaceful (excluding weekends).Public toilet is good and tales UPI also. However, after 9.30pm, guy stops taking UPI and only cash.

Pradeep Singh Rawat — Google review

One of the most popular beach in South Goa which is very scenic and calm.It is close to the honeymoon beach and butterfly beach for which one can hire kayak from here.Palolem has plenty options for food and many shacks are there along shoreline.

Rajesh Srivastav — Google review

Very pretty though a really small beach. The color of the sea water is mesmerising at times. The downside is that the beach is way too crowded for its size and not even one decent shack (cleanliness, wi fi, air conditioning, food, co*cktails are all a hit or a miss affair) to stay in. The music gets too loud in the evenings. And on weekends you have to avoid bumping into others while walking on the beach.

Anish Singh — Google review

Amazing and serene beach in South Goa. The vibes here are so relaxing and soothing that you'll forget all your worries. Do not miss the sunset if you're visiting Palolem Beach as it has one of the best sunset views. ❤️There's plenty of parking space available and the market near beach is energetic and lively.

Lalit Kumbhar — Google review

This is most definitely my favourite place, the beach is clean and very beautiful. Lots of restaurants along the beach to choose from, quiet and chilled. Lots of kayaking very fun to watch as well as having a go yourself. Great for morning walks and sunset co*cktails 🍹

Definitely I wanted this...I wanted a perfect Beach Holiday, free from all troubles... amidst Nature and solitude... amidst friends and families. South Goa gave me that chance....but still something was missing. Then I found You PALOLEM🩵😍...and immediately my vacation become perfect🥺 my search for That something become complete. You, PALOLEM🩵, is not just a beach...you are a complete lifestyle.... carefully carefree... scenic yet modern, solitary yet always available, natural 🥀🍀yet very much worldly, you are Beauty Incarnate. And what a beauty you offer...long stretches of golden yellow sand, even ebb and flow of the Arabian Sea, all round greenery, long line of coconut trees and a blissful perfect solitude...just amazing. You can easily compete with any foreign beaches... probably that's why foreigners are more than the Indians.

Abhiraj Dutta (Little Krishna) — Google review

It’s a good beach and one of the main attractions in south Goa, it’s almost 2 hrs normal drive from Panjim with beautiful landscape in between. But people need to be careful and should maintain cleanlinessIt’s directly connected to road and have enough parking space ( given moderate crowd). You’ll also get to see lot many general stores and restaurants beside beach, so you can have anything or can purchase things required and have decent hotels nearby.

Abhay Ptatap Singh Rathore — Google review

The beach is spread quite big. So, it feels less crowded. There are atleast 50 beach shacks. It is a clean beach. You get all adventure sports like parasailing, kayaking, speed boating etc. The water is shallow for almost 100 mtrs from beach. So, many kids are left unattended. Waves are at right force. Very good place to spend time with family or friends

Sai Prabhakar Varanasi — Google review

Very clean and peaceful beach of South Goa. The water level is not too deep. Perfect for swimming for all age groups.Lots of restaurants, beach cottages and shopping options available on and near the beach. It's definitely safe to spend some time from evening till mid-night with friends and family

A tour costing INR 600 includes an explanation of various spice plants' cultivation and harvesting, as well as a delectable home-cooked meal. It's an excellent place for spice enthusiasts to take photographs.

We had a great time! We learned a lot (about plants, spices, insects, and animals) the food was great, my daughter had fun playing with the cats, the staff was extremely nice and knowledgeable, and nice products are sold at the entrance. And the drive there is in such a beautiful landscape!

Amazing tour of the farm, very informative about spice history and organic farming. Our Tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable, interesting stories with good wit.Beautiful farm and enjoyed a tasty lunch.

Our experience was the most peaceful, rejuvenating, and much needed. Chinmayi was excellent as a host along with his wife. The food was delicious, with everything homegrown and super healthy. I bought a lot of spices and food items from them to bring back home. If you want to explore another side of Goa that's in the forests rather than the beach, do visit. Loved it ❤️

Our family had a great day at the Tanshikar Spice Farm, in March 2023. It took about an hour to drive here from Patnem beach, where we were staying. Lots of beautiful scenery on the drive. The Spice Farm helped us arrange a guided hike through Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, which was a highlight of our vacation. Our guide was great! Then we had a delicious meal at the Spice Farm. Our boys were tired out, and we didn't finish the tour of the farm, but the farm was beautiful, green, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was great to see some of rural Goa, away from the bustle of the beach towns. Highly recommended.

This was one of our highlights while travelling India. The host was so knowledgeable and informative and we learned so much about the local herbs and spices that Indians use to keep healthy. I 100% recommend taking a visit here if you are staying anywhere nearby

James Byrne — Google review

Regardless of if you are an Indian or a foreigner, this place is a must visit. The host was so calm and absolutely not rushed. She also gave us a glimpse of their ancient mud home. We are very thankful for that.It costs RS. 600 and you are given a tour of various spice plants and are explained about their growth and harvest. The price also includes a home cooked meal which was delicious. This was my fourth visit to a spice plantation and I am always intrigued to know more. An absolute photo fest for the enthusiast.

This is a wonderful place to visit with the owners taking you on a tour of how the different spices are grown in the middle of the jungle using each plant and the natural support system provided by the other plants and the environment to create a natural ecological system for growing spices. The guide was an expert in his subject and his English was excellent and his Hebrew was pretty good too. Also recommend the delicious lunch they serve and the friendly atmosphere. Not to miss if you are in South Goa

We did not stay here but attended the spice farm tour. Lots of knew knowledge and interesting facts. At the end of the tour we got to try their locally sourced indian cuisines. Extremely tasty😋 and highly recommended as an experience.

Vilma Suominen — Google review

It's a well maintained family run spice farm and worth the visit specially during the rainy season. The host is very informative and will give you many facts that one may not know. Local buffet lunch was served which was decent.Remember they aim for a self sustainable lifestyle so for some who put down negative comments probably expected luxury.

Larissa Dmello — Google review

My husband and I stayed overnight at the spice plantation and had a wonderful time. The staff were very kind, friendly and attentive. We went on a trek through netravali and enjoyed the spice tour very much. The food was excellent and we loved the little bungalow we stayed at. It was surrounded by nature and was very romantic. Would definitely commend what chinmay and his staff are doing and recommend it to anyone who loves nature.

Linda Field — Google review

The Spice farm is located about an hour’s drive from the south Goan beaches and well worth the trip. The buffet style food is wonderful and varied. Let them know if you want non-veg in advance.A group of us stayed for a couple of days to celebrate a birthday. The rooms are clean, and some have air-conditioning. There are quite a few different houses/rooms ranging from a traditional mud house with four rooms to more modern huts/houses. There is a lovely spring fed pool to swim and cool off in as well, so bring your bathing suit.I took the tour of approximately 1 ½ hours with Chinmay, the 3rd generation owner of the spice farm and a fountain of information. The love and care he and his family put into this organic spice farm is evident. It is wonderful to see and learn about many of the spices that we may take for granted in our kitchen. I recommend either a day trip or a stay.

Butterfly Beach is a serene and picturesque destination popular with locals and tourists seeking solitude. It is often frequented by couples and honeymooners looking for a private vacation, earning it the nickname "Honeymoon Beach." The narrow stretch of sand offers stunning sunset views, making it an ideal spot for romantic getaways. Adventure seekers can also indulge in thrilling activities such as parasailing, scuba diving, kayaking, banana boat rides, and hot air balloon rides at nearby beaches in South Goa.

It is a great place to watch the setting sun. Very peaceful and comfortable. On butterfly beach if you go by four wheeler then you have to walk/trek at least 3 km, while if you go by bike then you have to walk half km, and local gypsy also runs boating is also on From there by boating they take you to turtle rock and honeymoon beach..the beach is very small but very beautiful..the morning is the best time to visit as there will be less crowd..

PRAKASH KUMAR — Google review

Amazing place for adventure in Goa. The beach is very good. The water is clean and looks bluish green. A trek of 45 mins from the parking is worth it, but you can take your bikes to the very end of trek. Climbing rocks is fun.The water is not ideal to go in as the slope is quite steep. The beach gets crowded very soon due to tourists coming by boats from Agonda and Palolem as early as 7:30 am. Lot of mess also has been created on the beach due to garbage and bottles.Overall a pretty good place to visit. But overcrowding decreases it's beauty

Harsh Gaonkar — Google review

Butterfly beach is the perfect place to catch sunset or even take a swim. The water is beautiful and the waves sounds heavenly. It's a great place to watch the sunset and wind up your day when you get tired. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Butterfly Beach in South Goa is like a secret paradise. It has beautiful ocean views, green hills, and amazing sunsets. This beach is very quiet and peaceful, so it's great for people who want a relaxing break. But it's not easy to get to, and there aren't many facilities. Still, if you love nature and want a calm and special place by the sea, Butterfly Beach is a hidden treasure you'll always remember.

Nisarg Sanchaniya — Google review

Breathtaking views. one of the most beautiful and memorable sunsets of my life.Definitely a must visit place for nature lovers.Trek is not so difficult, or else there is off-roading jeep available in that place. There is a cafe near the parking area .

Amongst beautiful beaches of south Goa, but as usual we being are ruining the beauty. Will take time to reach here from the parking lot, you need to hire a monster keep or scooter to reach the butterfly beach 🏝️

ABHIJEET RANA — Google review

Small portion of beach accessible via boat or by Trek is beautiful. Usually by boat you get around 30min to enjoy. Sometime get to sight dolphin

Nagaraj SK — Google review

It is one of the most captivating places in Goa with breathtakingly beautiful views and aquatic life. Apart from its' exceptional shape, the beach is known for the acrobatics of the dolphins around the beach and millions of butterflies flying over the hilltop. As the name suggests, Butterfly beach is the abode of numerous beautiful butterflies. But what the name doesn't tell us is that during low tides, when the seashore widens, the beach is littered with crabs and goldfishes. Sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and even redfish are common sights here. The beach cannot be accessed by buses, cars or bikes as it is surrounded by a dense forest. You can reach Butterfly beach by boat from Palolem or Agonda beaches. A boat ride costs around INR 1000-1200 (to and fro). You must keep in mind that during monsoon season boating to Butterfly beach is not possible. Butterfly Beach is a secluded beach, which can be reached from Agonda Beach by hiking 10 km through dense jungle. And nobody can stay in beach but you have to be aware of the crowd at night as per my experience Baga, Calangute and Anjuna are way safer and crowed as compared to other beaches. So make sure the place where you were thinking to stay at night has enough crowd. The best time to plan a visit to Butterfly beach is from November to March. You can enjoy the beach to its’ fullest as the weather is pleasant during these months. During the low tide period, you can witness sea urchins, redfish, goldfish, and sea cucumbers at Butterfly Beach.Imagine the magnificence of a sight where millions of butterflies are harboring over the beach and dolphins are playing at the shore of the beach. Remember that Monsoons are a bad time to visit the Butterfly Beach because all the routes to reach the beach will be blocked during this time.Things to Carry At Butterfly Beach:Picnic Basket:As we mentioned that the Butterfly beach is a secluded place, if you plan on spending long hours here, it would be a smart idea to carry a picnic basket with some snacks, water bottles and eatables as you won’t be able to find any shops nearby.A Blanket:If you are planning to visit in the Winters, make sure you carry a blanket to the Butterfly Beach. It gets a little windy and you can always have a warm and cozy time while curling up at the beach.Sunglasses and Sunscreen:While visiting the Butterfly Beach during the early hours of the day, it is highly recommended that you carry your sunglasses and sunscreen to stay protected from direct sunlight.

Rohit Kumar — Google review

The route to the beach is ideal for a two wheeler only, four wheelers have to be parked a few kms before the beach and you’ll have to walk down the trail. The view from the beach is beautiful but since morning the ferry’s start coming to the shore and release a lot of smoke which is such a turn off.Hence, visiting this beach before 7am is recommended.

This is one of the best beach in south Goa. While on the beach, you will feel like in Thailand. The water is green and clear. Try to reach by riding scooty + trekking and spend at least 2 hours there. By reaching through boats will only give you five minutes to enjoy this beautiful beach.

Beats and Chords — Google review

This Butterfly beach is mostly calm and serene. The water here is translucent and greenish in colour. The beach is enclosed by thick forest on one side and open sea on the other side. This beach has a unique and picturesque landscape. This hidden gem is situated north of Palolem beach. There is small route leading up to a big rock from the beachside, from where the view is awesome. Be sure to enjoy this outstanding view. You can either trek through the forest, through the off beaten path, to reach the beach or take a boat trip from other side. Either way this is a must visit beach in South Goa. It is the most romantic beach in Goa, set in beautiful green waters. As the name suggests, butterfly beach is home to numerous butterflies. When the trees on the hillside near the beach bloomed, you can spot a number of butterflies. It is also reputed for dolphin sightings too. And since beach is more or less remote and less crowded, you can enjoy without much noises.

Aleena A Philip — Google review

A pretty good place to visit. The beach is very good. The water is clean and looks bluish green. A trek of 2km from the parking is worth it. Don’t take your bikes to very end.Garbage and bottles decrease its beauty.

Deependra Yadav — Google review

Amazing beach with dreamy view. Not crowded too much. You can reach by car but at some point after that you've to reach by trekking. It will almost take 30-40 mins by trek. If short in time, you can reach by bike upto the beach & it is more than enough ahead from the car parking point. If you are planning to visit Goa you shoud definitely go here. A great jungle trail experience.

AADESH PADAVE — Google review

This beach is my favourite in Goa. Perfect time to visit this place is early morning. Beautiful and worth the efforts. Crowd is less in morning and will be able to enjoy this place more.

Juhi Tyagi — Google review

The best view comes with the hardest climbs. This is true for this place. It's a very small beach in South goa with a view that the beach is surrounded by rocks and mountains. To reach this place we have to walk almost 2 km or will have to pay for a jeep. There are small shops that sell drinking water. We had taken our scooter till where the jeeps would leave us. I suggest going there with a full tank.

Akshay Ramesh — Google review

One of the most beautiful beach in Goa.Must visit beach when you are in south Goa.Before visiting the beach you may watch some YouTube blogs for ideas regarding how to reach beach side.Little confusion on bike parking but you may counsel to locals.

Irfan Patel — Google review

Butterfly Beach falls short of the hype. A small beach requiring a 2km walk, the view doesn't justify the 25-minute trek. Littered with beer bottles, it's a good beach but considerably overrated. The scenic disappointment with scattered litter diminishes the overall appeal. While Butterfly Beach has potential, its current state and the lengthy walk make it less appealing than anticipated.

Dudhsagar Falls, situated at the Goa-Karnataka border, is a 3-streamed waterfall that derives its name from its milky waters. It measures around 310 meters in height and is divided into four layers that eventually merge into the Mandovi River. As one of the tallest waterfalls in India, it is a popular tourist attraction and an ideal destination for nature lovers to revel in its lush green glory during monsoon season.

Beautiful place. Better to visit during/after monsoons otherwise everything is "red". ( oh , and beware the monkeys. They are adorable but playful and may want your purse/bag or sunglasses)

san shal — Google review

Private jeeps are the only way to go up. They are always on tight schedule and will give you only 90 min of time at water fall after reaching at parking place. 90 min is sufficient if you want to do some photography. But if you are a swimmer then negotiate the extra time charge in advance.

Sanjay Zade — Google review

Dudhsagar Falls in Goa is a breathtaking natural wonder that leaves visitors in awe. The majestic cascade of white water plunging down from a height creates a mesmerizing spectacle. The falls are surrounded by lush greenery, adding to the pristine beauty of the location. The sight and sound of the gushing water create a sense of tranquility and serenity. While the journey to Dudhsagar Falls can be adventurous, the destination is well worth it. Whether you choose to admire the falls from a distance or take a refreshing dip in its pools, Dudhsagar Falls offers a memorable and enchanting experience for nature lovers.

Kaushik Mandal — Google review

When we went here few years, we had only option to get the train, if we miss then need to walk to main station to catch the trains. Lot had improved now after many visitors are reaching here. We can bath at downside of the fall with trekking. No shops where there before but now we have it. Lot improved now. Great experience.

Haven on the earth, amazing natural beauty, you should never miss a chance to visit this place. I assure you will be filled with joy and adventure after reaching this place. The safari ride will thrill you by it's adventure.Good job the forest team to maintain the place clean and respectful. Please don't remove your life jacket if you're entering in to falls as I could be dangerous because of its depth.

Priyank Singh — Google review

It’s a journey to get here and you should count at least 4 hours for this trip (excluding the journey from the hotel to the park entrance which in our case took 2 hours in each direction from our hotel in north Goa)Overall we left the hotel at 7am and returned at 4pmGetting the mandatory Jeep to go in the track to reach the waterfall is a very disorganized process (it takes roughly 30 minutes and cost 700rs + 40rs for life jacket) / we heard that you can skip this part by booking online.Once in the Jeep, count 30-45 minutes to get through the checkpoint (100rs for government) and reach the Jeep parking. Then around 10 minutes walk (difficult for kids and old people) to cross very natural places before reaching the waterfalls. You can swim in the waterfalls, it’s clean and safe. Not recommended for solo women travelers.

Yassine Belmamoun — Google review

The trek is a bit hectic (around 14 kms one way) but it’s totally worth it. The view is breathtaking. If you like watching water falling over rocks, it’s definitely a place to check out.

Aleena A Philip — Google review

Gifted place. You cannot ride to the falls, stop the car at the jeep taxi stand and book the jeep online. Link will be provided at the place. Rs. 25 per person for registration, kids above age 5 to be considered as adults. This registration copy to be shown at the counter to get a jeep driver. One jeep will carry only 7 passengers. You need to pay 500 per head for jeep safari, additional 300 including the life jacket (mandatory) and forest entrance fees.Ride to the falls is awesome. You will get almost an hour time at the falls. Have to be careful while walking over the slippery rocks 🪨. Mobiles must kept inside a plastic cover or carry it very carefully. Wear the life jacket and you can swim in the water. Water will be very cold and it’s an awesome experience there. Carry swim suits or spare dress to enjoy the bath.

Deepak Shenoy — Google review

Dudhsagar Waterfall is a breathtaking natural wonder that left me in awe during my recent visit. The sheer size and power of the waterfall are simply mesmerizing. The cascading water looks like a frothy river of milk, hence the name "Dudhsagar," which means "Sea of Milk" in Hindi. The lush green surroundings and the dense forest add to the charm of this place, making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts and photographers. The journey to reach the waterfall, whether by train or trekking, is an adventure in itself, with stunning views of the Goan countryside. The only downside to this popular tourist destination is the crowd. It can get quite crowded, especially during the peak season, which takes away from the tranquility of the place. However, if you can time your visit during the off-peak hours, you'll have a more peaceful experience.Overall, Dudhsagar Waterfall is a must-visit for anyone exploring the natural beauty of Goa. It's a sight to behold and a great escape from the bustling beaches and nightlife of the region.

Akshay Gadekar — Google review

A wonderful natural beauty. This is a very unique scenario where you can see waterfalls, hilly rivers, deep forest and railway tracks in between deep forest. You can take a Jeep ride from Kulem to visit this waterfall. The water is very clear and the atmosphere is very peaceful and pleasant in nature. You can take a deep breath and chill in here. Fresh air and fresh water. You can visit from November to February for the best experience. Water is around 20 meters deep at the falling point. A life jacket is must to visit this waterfall.

Very hyped falls, with less stream and water. Approaching road inside forest is bumpy, not a tar road takes around 45 minutes to reach followed by 10 to 15 min walk. 640 per head- 500 ticket, 100 to forest entry, 40 life jacket or 3500 for a vehicle. Railway track is there. Water is deep and cold. Overall ok.

One of the wonderful water falls in India...one should visit this place in your lifetime..the trekking experience is good and after the trekk when we reach the falls...the beauty of falls and the aura is once in a lifetime experience..If you want the real beauty of the waterfall.. u must visit in monsoon season..

Rohit — Google review

Stunning view!!One of the best places to visit in South Goa. We came here in the off season. Had a small hike to make it to here. But it was all worth it. The waterfall is is a huge one and shipped like heart. You can also see it from the train but we decided to get down in Kulem station to do a small hike. The hike it self was amazing.

JISMON JOSEPH — Google review

Breath taking view when you arrive there. I would absolutely recommend a visit if you are in India and Goa. Make sure you arrive early as there is a limit to how many Jeeps can go there in a day. Swimming in the water is a must after a hot trek but get ready for crowded and quite tight rocky shore. Water is deep. Also be careful with any food as monkey are there to steal it then they litter around with food wrappings juice boxes etc. They can get quite aggressive.

Najir Shaikh — Google review

Make sure to visit this place in the early morning . Morning is the best time to reach there with view as well as to avoid long queues, otherwise you will end up waiting in queue while sitting in your vehicle. Don't carry any food inside the waterfall otherwise you'll have to share it with monkeys. In Jeep Safari I had an experience where a monkey suddenly came up for food and was sitting with me inside the Jeep. For a ticket you need to do an online booking and then to book for Jeep from there with life jacket charge. There is also a separate jungle entry fee, so it is better to keep your card handy for the payment.

Helly Rajyaguru — Google review

One must visit this waterfall if you are visiting Goa. The milky white water flows with gush which is a treat to eyes. it is wise to visit this waterfall in Goa, after the monsoon, between October to February. If you want to swim in the Dudhsagar River at the base of the falls, do it only with a life jacket. Bathing in the monsoon is not recommended when the water flows with great force. There are no cloakrooms / lockers to store luggage near the falls.Note: Be aware of monkeys and dont feed them.

Terrible place. Only about mass tourism. Hundreds of white jeeps entering and exiting the park, driving the exact same route. No nature to see, no animals (scared away by thousands of shouting tourists). No possibility of entering the park without having to book a tour in a white jeep, which takes away from all chances of seeing animals or nature. Not worth going at all

While I have been to Doodhsagar falls a couple of times, this time we decided to go on a trek. A total of 12 kilometres from the gate to waterfalls, it was an awesome experience in the morning. Walking through the forest, if you are a nature person, then I bet you will enjoy the early mornings. All is good until you have walk back 12 kms .. it was not at all fun to walk back in the scorching sun ... Yet it was fine .. overall an unique experience.

Varca Beach in South Goa is a hidden gem for those seeking tranquility and solitude. This beach stands out for being one of the least crowded and most serene spots in the region. The beauty of Varca Beach lies in its emptiness. Unlike the bustling and crowded beaches of Goa, Varca offers a peaceful and uncrowded environment, allowing visitors to truly relax and unwind. The spaciousness of the beach provides ample room to enjoy a leisurely walk, sunbathe, or simply soak in the soothing ambiance. The serenity of Varca Beach is further enhanced by its pristine and unspoiled beauty. The golden sands stretch as far as the eye can see, merging seamlessly with the azure waters of the Arabian Sea. The natural surroundings are captivating, offering a picturesque backdrop for capturing stunning photographs or simply immersing oneself in the beauty of the coastal landscape. While the lack of crowds is a major draw, it's important to note that the absence of commercial establishments and tourist facilities may be seen as a drawback by some. However, for those seeking solitude and a break from the hustle and bustle, Varca Beach provides a welcome respite.Overall, Varca Beach is a haven for peace seekers and nature lovers. Its emptiness is a rare find in Goa, offering a serene and undisturbed beach experience. If you yearn for solitude and long for a tranquil escape, Varca Beach is the perfect destination to unwind and reconnect with nature.

Clean , non crowded beach we have seen till date.. Probably we were there in Oct end. We spent couple of days at Benaulim Beach. I also did two runs at the beach and its around 3 kms to colva Beach .We would recommend if you are looking for a beach to spend time with family & kids.. Its very safe since the beach front is flat for more than 50 meters. Its more of a quite place to relax and rather noisy party place. There are two good shacks on this beach which we tried- Malibu & Pedro shack. They serve the best sea food plus they have a wide range of beer collection. They also arrange for fresh towels, have wash rooms/changing rooms etc.

Goa is known for its delicious and unique sweets! One of the most popular, and definitely a must try, is the Bebinca. This traditional Goan dessert is made from eggs, coconut and jaggery and is sure to bring a smile to your face! Doce de Grao is another sweet that you can’t miss out on. It is a palm fudge and is sure to keep you wanting more. Then there’s Teias De Aranhas, which is a sweet, fluffy fried pastry. But Goa isn’t just about its sweets, it boasts some amazing savory dishes as well. There’s nothing quite like the flavor of some freshly prepared prawn pickle, which is a famous delicacy here. And if you’re craving something more fulfilling, why not try out some delicious beef or pork dishes, cooked to perfection. Most stuff is what you'll get in any town market - clothes, shoes, decoratives, etc. with few local traditional stalls every now n then. Ended up buying some local spices and Goan eatables. Any market gives the pulse of the city it's in and this definitely does not disappoint.

It is a big market in Margao city. Where you get all items at one place at a reasonable price. Only drawback is that you don't get parking easily for 2 wheelers and taking a 4 wheeler will be a big mistake as there is no parking

Great Market Margao and a adventure with the Bus)

It's an amazing place to find daily grocery items, accessories, medicines and other homemade products of meat, spices, incense, flowers, etc. It also has a number of famous brands selling cloth material. It's also surrounded by delicious food serving restaurants and cafes.

Pearl Rodrigues — Google review

Anything & everything under one place. Lot of options, variety and very reasonable rates. Market is clean & tidy with lot of parking spaces for two wheelers. Four wheelers is a bit problem. You name it & you will get it here.

Rohan Prabhu — Google review

The Market that has many shops under one roof. Every item is available at reasonable rates. Bargaining is neccesary. Its like a maze of shops. You can compare the rates too.

Alfreeda Menezes — Google review

Great Indian experience. Keep alert when crossing any roads! 🇮🇳👍

Jean Hamilton — Google review

You will let mostly ladies things and grocery items there. The prices are very economical. This market needs to be rebuilt. It has a small shop and narrow corners. It is advisable to avoid going between 1pm-4pm as most of the shops are closed for lunch. After 4pm is the right time to visit the market. Use a mask.l before entering the market as it smells very bad especially near the pork shop.

Saurabh Vishvakarma — Google review

One of the famous Market in South Goa. A tourist attraction and destination. I think almost everything you need is here, clothes, shoes, food, groceries, local wine shop, souvenir shop, And very famous in all goan delicacy. But a very busy place and parking is a big problem in peak hours.

Carroll Barretto — Google review

A place for purchase of essentials to specialities. A must to visit during stay at margaon. Roaming in the marklet and looking at different shops and the products they offer is in itself a joyful moments. You get dried and sugar coated tender coconut, which I saw for the first time.

Very beautiful and calm beach. Well maintained and crowded towards evenings due to water sports events available there. There are some good shacks available and many other restaurants in that area. Northern side of the beach is more calm and mostly fisherman area.

Jose Joseph — Google review

I nice and peaceful beach where we could sit for a long time and just eat and be at peace. The beach over was a nice place but couldn't give it a 5 star since I felt if lacked the general Goan lustre unlike the other South Goan beaches. Unfortunately I was looking for accommodation in the area and the available accomodations weren't at all satisfactory.

Ishaak Mall — Google review

The beach is good enough but mostly crowded. There are different shack’s available for leisure. There also multiple water sports available here like parasailing, jet ski, etc.Parking is available for free. Also the shops are available at walking distance from the beach.

A beautiful, long and sandy beach in Colva. It is lined with shacks, hotels, restaurants, lounge chairs etc. Before entering the beach, there are two small footbridges. It is less crowded than the beaches in North Goa. However, there are fishing boats and stray dogs roaming in the vicinity. It is less crowded in the evenings. There is garbage scattered around the beach area. Watersport activities can be done on this beach. It is a must visit and should not be missed.

Cedric Noronha — Google review

Very peaceful place 😌 loved it so much less crowded place, very smooth waves and clean water good to do water games, good for kids . Full of open area. Water rides also available but bit costly. If you search for search for a shell you will get so many different shells sea fishes

Nagur Mastan — Google review

This is generally a crowded beach during the evenings but if you are staying nearby do check out the beach at sunrise when there's hardly anyone on the beach. It is also popular for the water activities and the sunsets. There are lots of joints for food and drinks on the Colva beach road that serve everything - seafood, south indian cuisine, bengali cuisine, Chinese, North Indian, etc. If your looking for more quiet beaches then you can skip it. It can feel very commercialised.Cons- the sand leading to the beach is infested with ants so try to walk fast. And beware of the over friendly homeless people living there especially if you're visiting the beach with family.

Chandra Sen — Google review

As expected it was too crowded when we visited on 18th Dec (Sunday). The beach was fun though to spend some time, playing in the water. The waves were not too rough.

It is situated in south goa. Buses are available to this place, the economical and safest means of transport if u r a solo traveller. Pleasant and peaceful place with little to no crowd. The shore mostly has black sand with small crabs n no shells. Water depth is more so life guards are always at a watch. Beach strolling and simply basking at the sunset can be rejuvenating.

Beautiful beach. Peaceful spot in Goa. It is not too crowded. Please be careful while swimming, there are some no swimming zones. Please obey the warning signs. There's a park for kids to play. Lots of small cute crabs keep running on the shore. The beach was clean and the sand was extremely fine. The beach sand was so fine, it is easy to make a proper sand castle successfully 😁.

Colva Beach in South Goa is a calm and peaceful spot with soft white sand and not too many people. It's a quiet option compared to the busier beaches in North Goa and many visitors from other countries like it here. You can also find a lively market, tasty local food and it's easy to get to. It's a great place to relax and have a peaceful time at the beach.

It is another beautiful, clean, and less crowded beach. The sand dunes are kept intact here, too. We saw a new type of beach crab here.

Wriddhi Bagchi — Google review

We had a great time over here! There were just 2-3 shacks available on this secluded beach. There is literally no one to disturb you, you can just grab a book, a drink and enjoy the relaxing beach throughout the day at this shack. You often see various birds in front of you near the shore, which is lovely. The service was good, food was okay in both the shacks. You will see 1-2 speed boats parked next to this shack, if you wanna go for speed boating.I'll definitely recommend you to visit here and enjoy if you want a calm, secluded beach ⛱️ vibe in South Goa, with no commercial activities and zero crowd.

Sri Mahadeva Temple Tambdisurla is an ancient Hindu temple situated in a peaceful location within the Bhagwan Mahavir wildlife sanctuary. The temple, carved from basalt rocks, was constructed in the 12th century by Hemadri, a minister of the Yadava Dynasty. Its unique architecture featuring stones cut to specific shapes without any binding is intriguing and maintains cool interiors even during high temperatures.

This place really has a different vibe. Its an ancient temple built in the 12th century dedicated to Lord Shiva. The place is surrounded with greenery on all its sides and different flowers can be seen surrounding the temple. A must visit place and also well maintained. Please don’t litter.

Shraddha gaikwad — Google review

Well maintained temple by Archeological Society. It's right in the middle of forest cover. There is a stream of water flowing right next to it.Serene environment.Do visit. Maintain cleanliness & sanctity of the place.

Har Har Mahadev! Shiv temple is very old and very nice, the work done in stones here is very amazing which is difficult to do in today's time, so if you go to Goa then definitely visit here once.

Ishtdev Mishra — Google review

The real temple looks way smaller than the pictures show but it's worth it. It is located in a nature conservation area and it's possible to see all sorts of monkeys, lizards, snakes whatnot on your way there. It's nice to walk around and the area is well-run. Parking is free but you'll be asked to buy flowers as an offering to Shiva before entering the temple. They are inexpensive - just 30 rupees and the pack includes incense sticks you can light inside.

Екатерина Манина — Google review

A must visit temple. Really well maintained area, surroundings by archeological survey of India. A peaceful and calm place where you can meditate. Nature is in its full bloom during monsoons. The place is in forest and that’s why this temple from 13th century is untouched from invaders.

Nikhil Moholkar — Google review

Good place to visit if you love heritage places especially temples. Remote and peaceful place in south Goa. No range for Vi and Jio networks. Save offline map if you are visiting it for the first time. Washrooms and local tea stalls are available near entrance. Parking is free on the road as temple is at dead end spot. Though actual temple is small, surrounding area is big enough to hang around for a while.

Nakul Dani — Google review

It is a very beautiful place. The whole area will give you some hill station vibe you will be shocked that this is in goa.But the main thing is please remember- it is quite far from the city- there is almost no network at all in this place so don't trust Google maps or depend too much on your phone. It's better you have a local person helping youThe ride to this place is also superb

I had the privilege of visiting the Kadamba Shri Mahadev temple in Goa, and I must say it was a truly remarkable experience. The temple's serene ambiance and stunning architectural details left a lasting impression on me. The intricate carvings and sculptures depicting various mythological stories were awe-inspiring and showcased the skilled craftsmanship of the artisans. The peaceful atmosphere within the temple premises provided a perfect setting for introspection and spiritual contemplation. The temple's significance as a place of devotion and its historical importance added to the sense of reverence that one feels while being there.

Debasish Jena — Google review

A very well maintained temple complex with alot of history amidst a think forest. The architecture and the serenity of this temple is mesmerizing .Can easily access the river in the front and enjoy quick snacks at stores near by.Would highly recommend visiting this place during monsoon to gather the best views of the prestine mountains and forest in its full glory

Prajwal M — Google review

Amazing place in the centre of nature. We went there from Panjim, and it took us about 1.5 hrs. Out of this, about 45 mins was a drive through thick cover of trees. The temple is archaic and we felt quite peaceful once we reached there. Although, the journey to the temple was even more peaceful. The roads are single lane but with no potholes, so we had no issues driving on them even in heavy rainfall.Food? There a multiple small restaurants they you can find on your way to the temple, but at the temple, there are no restaurants, but small stalls setup by locals. You can find snacks like cookies, chips, etc., or you can also enjoy tea/coffee with pakodas and Maggie.Important to note is there’s no network around that area, so download your maps, and keep enough cash for you local purchase.

Also a waterfall around 4kms away. There are few stalls outside the temple serving refreshments ,tender coconut etcThe temple is around 65-67kms away from panjim bus stand. You'll find yourself Surrounded by monkeys

David Peter Fernandes — Google review

The 13th century Mahadev temple is located at a peaceful and serene location amidst mountains in the backdrop farway from the hustle bustle of cities. You can park your vehicle at the gates, they have laid out a cobbled stone path to the temple , which is barely 5 minutes from the gate. The temple carved out of stones has withstood the test of time. The well maintained gardens compliment this beautifully created temple. You are allowed to take photos however photos of Lord Mahadev are prohibited. You will surely be amazed by the whole experience.

If one visits Goa, one must visit this mahadev temple in tambdi surla. The temple covered with thick forest with natural beauty throughout your eyesight goes. Peaceful place to visit and enjoy the view of the temple carved from a single stone that too built around 13th century. Amazing marvels of past.

This place truly exudes a unique vibe. It is an ancient temple constructed in the 14th century, devoted to Lord Shiva. The surroundings of the temple are enveloped in lush greenery, with various flowers adorning the area. It is undoubtedly a must-visit destination, impeccably maintained. It's situated in South Goa, it's a little bit away from the usual places, many small tea shops are there for snacks, separate toilet facilities also available for both genders. Kindly refrain from littering the premises.

The journey is very exciting and adventurous. It is 1.5 hour drive from Margaon and the place is inside Bhagwan Mahaveer wild life sanctuary. The jungle is lush green and road is very good. The temple is about 700 year old and built in 13th century. A day worth spent.

Arun Gupta — Google review

It's a great place to visit.. About 50-60 kms from Dabolim Airport, this temple is situated quite inside of a forest.. However, the place itself is soothing.. The gardens in the temple area are beautiful.. The temple is surrounded by a small river/tributary on one side, trees/forests on almost all sides, and hills on one side.. It has a refreshing aura, you can spend a quality hour or two here, with family or friends.. It's a nice place to visit around Goa.. Gets you away for a while, from the party-life version of Goa.. Would definitely recommend a visit here..

Maddy47 — Google review

If you land in Goa, you must visit this place. Situated in deep forest you will enjoy the journey through lush green forest. Absolute treat to eyes. This Shiva temple was build in 13th century, carved from stone. Also water flowing through nearby stream, from deep forest waterfall. Although water is flowing is less in summer but chilled.

Utorda Beach in South Goa is an incredibly picturesque seaside destination that offers visitors the epitome of peace and tranquility. The beach boasts a stunning stretch of white sand and crystal-clear blue waters, which makes it one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Goa. It's a popular spot for tourists looking to escape from the bustling crowds, as there are very few people who visit this area. Nice, calm and clean beach in South Goa. The beach is less crowded compared to the popular beaches in the North. You may enjoy activities like parasailing here. There are a handful of shacks available here, in case you wish to enjoy some food and drinks. A good place to enjoy sunset view.

Just some distance from famous Majorda Beach of South Goa you will find UTORDA....a very serene, peaceful beach of South Goa. Infact, most of South Goa beaches are less crowded... Utorda is more so because of its wayward positioning and infrequent communication. But that actually increases its charm. The tide is even, the seabed is flat, the beach 🏖️ is long...a perfect place for 🌞 bathing and swimming. So add this beautiful beach in your itinerary.....dear.

It's feels like being on a new world where everything is so green and clean. Definitely the air feels fresher.2. They charge 500 per person and provide a tour guide, a welcome drink, warm welcome, and unlimited lunch.3. Our tour guide was the sweetest person, he was really funny and very informative. Our whole exploring journey was even more fun because of him.4. They showed us many herbs and spices.5. They sell those herbs at a very reasonable price at their own shop.Cons-1. This place has so much to learn and understand how much our spices and plantation enrich our culture and heritage that we are known across worldwide. From creating cashew fenni to all varieties of spices that's grown over here is commendable. They also provide lunch and tours together which costs ₹800/person. Overall it's one of the best places to experience and explore when in goa.

Set by the shores of Arekerem Lake near Ponda, Goa, this is a wonderful experience.. Surrounded by lush, forested hills is a 100 acre spice plantation. The staff were warm and friendly. Our guide Karishma took us on a walkaround at a suitable pace for even the older members of our group. She answered all our questions, was humorous and looked after us until the point we left. Oh, incuded in the price was a lovely Goan lunch including chapati, rice, veggies, fish, chicken, kokum juice, and a sweet. Definitely worth a visit.

One of the oldest churches in Goa, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, is a fine, iconic architectural marvel. We visited during the Christmas season, so it was super packed. You can see various paintings, sculptures, and relics depicting the rich history and Christian heritage of Goa. The building is well maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India, with the original brickwork still untouched. It is well-known for accommodating St. Francis Xavier's mortal remains, which are open for public viewing for around one week to ten days every ten years. Although taking pictures and videos inside the church is strictly forbidden, you are welcome to do so outside. Make sure you wear an appropriate outfit; otherwise, you won't be permitted entry inside. Also, carry enough water and a hat to keep safe from the scorching heat. This is a fine addition to your Goa itinerary if you are someone who is an admirer of architecture and history or are simply looking for some spirituality and self-reflection.

Do not go if you are looking for a spiritual experience. This place has a good architecture but it’s too crowded due to over tourism and you will not get a good prayer experience. The Church in Goa radiates beauty and elegance, showcasing the region's captivating art and culture. Accompanied by a museum, our visit during the rainy season added a unique charm to the Church. However, there are dress code guidelines; women are not permitted to enter if wearing shorts or sleeveless dresses, while men can wear shorts as long as they extend below the knees. These rules, though restrictive, aim to maintain the sanctity of the Church environment, contributing to the overall cultural and spiritual experience for visitors.

Convenient to park outside the main premises and simply explore the area on foot. You may want to visit this location during morning/noon hours. It closes really early in evening and the timing is not accurate. There are no ticket charges to visit this place. There is an archaeological survey museum within walkable distance of the church with nominal entry fee I suppose. Didn’t go inside, so cannot confirm the charges.

Holy mass and religious prayers are happening there.also it's a regular cathedral church. We believe and pray to our lord Jesus he will bless us.So happy and relieved from my stress.Pray a rosery and attend holy mass it's a heavenly feeling

The Se Cathedral, also known as the Sé Catedral de Santa Catarina, is a must-see for any visitor to Goa. It is the largest church in Asia and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cathedral was built in the 16th century by the Portuguese and is dedicated to Saint Catherine of Alexandria. The Se Cathedral is a beautiful example of Portuguese colonial architecture. The exterior is decorated with intricate carvings and statues, while the interior is adorned with gold leaf, paintings, and stained glass windows. The cathedral also has a number of interesting chapels and shrines, including the Chapel of the Golden Bell, which houses the largest bell in Goa.The Se Cathedral is open to the public from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. There is a small entry fee, but it is well worth the price. I highly recommend taking a guided tour of the cathedral, as there is so much to see and learn. Here are some of the things I loved about the Se Cathedral:The architecture is stunning. The interior is richly decorated. There is a lot of interesting history to learn about the cathedral. It is a peaceful place to relax and reflect. If you are looking for a beautiful and inspiring place to visit in Goa, I highly recommend the Se Cathedral. Here are some additional tips for visiting the Se Cathedral:Wear comfortable shoes, as there is a lot of walking to do.Dress modestly, as this is a religious site.Photography is not allowed inside the cathedral. There are a number of restaurants and shops near the cathedral where you can get a bite to eat or buy souvenirs.

Calangute Beach is the largest beach in North Goa and is known as "Queen of the Beaches" in Goa. The beautiful golden sand and shimmering water make it a popular tourist destination, attracting people from all over the world. Along with watersports like swimming, surfing, and boating, there are also food stalls that offer various cuisines. The beach is lively at night with music playing and party goers enjoying themselves.

If you are a fan of hustle and bustle on a beach this is the place for you…located in North Goa …walk from parking to beach is all shops ..with lot of tattoo artists luring you…great vibes …The waves in the beach are strong and ferocious but not too deep so can enjoy a dip but there are dangerous places which is visible and guarded by coastguards…had an amazing sunset view on the beach …I would say a must visit for a beautiful sunset view ..checkout my video for a sample glimpse

It's worthwhile to spend the nightlife here.I had dinner at one of the beach shacks; dining on the beach is spectacular. They do arrange birthdays party for 2000rs. They are open till 2 or 3 a.m. at night.

After reaching Goa late evening we visited this beach as it was close to the hotel. It was jam packed even at 10 pm near the shore. Fancy restaurants with all party songs. Best place to enjoy the night life !!

This is the second main beach after Baga. Actually both are in same lane. All the water sport activities are done here.Morning vibes are too good. Dolphin rides are also available.but you have to early morning for that. Otherwise you see nothing.Parking is available at main entrance for Rs. 50.Evening water rides are awesome. Max allowed time will 5 PM. Get into water ride before that and watching sunset there will be a pure bliss.

One of the best beaches to visit as it is very lively and it's pretty well maintained. The beach and water here is real attractive with all kinds of water sports. Do not ever take any combo as they just give you small rides and there is no value for money. People are everywhere ready to make a fool of you. Choose the right ride and take it individual as it's value for money.

This is by far known to be Goa to most of the people who come to Goa for a vacation. To the fact its not so but yes it has the biggest parking lot I have seen in all the beaches I have visited in goa plus its most crowded beach ⛱️ 365 days of the year. The shacks are filled with all sorts of people from young to all oldies.I found this place a little less on hygiene and cleanliness. This doesn't bother people who are party animals but to others who have not come just for parties.

Sameer Ansari — Google review

Baga Beach, located in vibrant North Goa, offers a lively atmosphere and stunning sunset views. Renowned for its exciting water sports activities, the beach presents a dynamic experience. However, the downside includes overcrowding, leading to cleanliness issues, and a lack of beach amenities for optimal enjoyment. Additionally, certain areas restricted for water sports can limit the overall beach experience.

Aman Siddiqui — Google review

During my stay we had early morning walks at 5:30 AM to Baga Beach. The sun barely peeking over the horizon, casting an orange glow. The sand, cool and damp under bare feet. Cleanliness here is good to average depending on time. Breathtaking view of the ocean with boats at distant. We built sandcastles hearing the sound symphony of ocean waves and birds chirping. Ambience so mesmerizing giving peace and bliss like meditation. At Night it is chaotic with DJ sounds and Nightlife lights. At night you would be asked every now and then for Bars, Tatoo or Hookah here by waiters and agents. If you want to truly experience this beach just lace up shoes in early morning when it is still dark. It was a soul rejuvenating experience for me in early morning.

Shreyas Deshmukh — Google review

Anjuna Beach, located in North Goa, is a popular destination known for its stunning natural beauty and white sandy shores. It offers a range of activities such as parasailing, jet skiing, banana boat rentals, bungee jumping from an 80-foot tower, paragliding, and windsurfing. The beach is famous for its full moon beach parties during New Year and Christmas and attracts both domestic and foreign tourists.

One of the more popular but crowded beach. The beach is beautiful and great to view sunsets. The beach is a bit peaceful if you move a bit away towards the sides.

Nice beach for time spent. Less crowd as compared to other beaches in North Goa.Don't have well managed market to buy clothes.

Very rocky terrain so not that good for swimming. No life guards around. However, it’s great photo spot and restaurants on bay are plus. I haven’t tried food there but I am hoping it will be decent.

Good place overall! Too much haggling for water sport but otherwise the beach is clean.Lovely sunset point. Nightlife is great!

varun dave — Google review

Fantastic place to watch the sunset. A few shops nearby. Being a comparatively well-known beach, there is always a crowd here during sunset. But as it is a long stretch of that, it is not as disturbing. A little rocky outcrop right at the center is the perfect place to sit down and watch the sun disappear.

Rucha Paranjape — Google review

I must say this one is unique in its own way. It has all the restaurants and bars built in such a way or standing in such a way that you can sit seeing sun to dip in the evening sky with a beer in your hand still and calm till you take the last bit of it. If not you can choose to just grace the ocean from a Deck.

Mangesh Kore — Google review

A beautiful beach in north Goa. Some parts of the beach is rocky and some parts are sandy. A calm and quite beach one enjoy the day in the beach. Entry point of the beach is not specifically mentioned. There are several entry points. So according to need of vehicle and food items entry points should be earmarked.Good beach to vist.

It’s a nice beach, great ambience. There are some good shacks and the beach is clean. It isn’t as Rocky so you can stand on the shore. The sunset is very beautiful. There’s also an area where there are few bars and cafes to sit and chill

suchita aishwarya — Google review

This beach is one of the most popular beaches and there are many shacks lining the beach. The waves here are quite strong as well. If you're looking for a peaceful calm beach this is not recommended as it is more happening here

Kaushik Shyamal — Google review

Beach is clean but be careful with the slippery rocks and throny too🤣. Too many people to ask u for tattoos, hair braids and anklets.. many sea facing restaurants. U can a great time here.

Barodianbhumi — Google review

For me Anjuna was a way better experience than other beaches in Goa.The whole ambience and setting of stores through the tight roads is a vibe. And the sunset is just wow.The rocks formation in Beach gives the images an aesthetic feel.

Abhiram Kunnath — Google review

Nothing special here here....but if you want to enjoy some lovely time you can head here....as there's no shacks aroundDon't step deep into the sea as the beach coast is very low and decline also there is not a single coast guard to save us so be safe....else you can enjoy into the Cafe but they can be heavy on your pocket....if you are a photography lover you can head here as there will be no crowd....Also I would recommend to not go here at night coz it's risky and dark for anyone to be !!

Rock Buddy — Google review

Love it... Mesmerizing view from this beach. There are many cafes available near the beach. You can enjoy food in front of sea waves.Different types of stone on the beach also make the urge to spend more time and enjoy the Natural beauty of this Beach .You can spend many hours on this beach

Ruined centuries-old fortress on a headland, a popular vantage point for sunsets over the sea.

Its a beautiful place to spent time. Its very hot in summer, better to visit during winter. It has a beautiful isolated beach near by. The view is amazing. Foods and drinks are available at the bottom of the fort. We need to climb almost 120 steps to reach the entry and walk and enjoy the scenic views

Arya Raman — Google review

Not quite impressed with the fort as there is nothing much to see apart from sea view from hill top. Visiting this place in early morning would be highly recommend as there are no shelters around or inside the fort for a visit in noon. It's was hot and drains a lot of energy. One suggestion is that if you are welling to visit make sure you get down to the other side of the fort for a beach view which is worth your time.

Abhishek Gowda — Google review

Great place to have a great view of Vagator and another beach just backside but don’t know the name . Just sit back n relax with friends you will love the vibes . This is more famous for the shooting of movie Dil Chahta Hai

Sonam Swain — Google review

A very nice place with beautiful view points. One should climb some 100 steps to reach the fort. Entry is free here and it is generally good for sunset view. The place is extremely hot and visitors should take sufficient water, hat or umbrella. There are a number of shops on either side of the pathway and at the top. The cost is a little high compared to general price

Sruthi Veeramani — Google review

About a 10 minute ride from Anjuna, lots of moped parking and then an uphill walk to the stairs, there are people selling water and drinks on the way up. There are just over 100 stairs to get to the top of the fort and the opening times were 10-6. Lovely views from the top, try to go earlier than later as it gets very hot

Melissa Leveridge — Google review

Nice place to visit, provides a top view of the ocean and the creek. Early morning and evening are best slots, though we had travelled in afternoon. Parking is chargeable. Small shops around the stairs sells lots of stuff, collectible as memento. I loved the one at the entrance, the guy selling spices and then the one at the bottom, selling leather bags.

Bikramjit — Google review

Nice, pleasant and calm place to visit with your friends and family. The place is very big, you can go and sit anywhere and enjoy the beautiful views. The fort entry closes at 5.30pm in the evening, and it takes around 20-25 minutes walking through steps to reach the fort in the top. So plan your visit accordingly. Carry some snacks or you can also buy from the many shops available alongside the steps to fort. Must visit place if you are nearby.

Shreejit Achari — Google review

Just a small historical broken fort, just one time visit in Goa. The back view is nice for photos where the beach looks pretty good in photos.Parking is a little challenging as the roads are tiny & parking space is also very small.

Chethan S — Google review

Historically, I recommend visiting the place as one of the highest places where we can watch the nearby beach. Wonderful view point and recommending that visit morning between 10 am 12 pm or 3 pm to 5 Pm in the evening in the Summer season. Too much walking is required, hence avoiding kids and elderly people. There are juice points available to get refreshment. No tickets when I visited in the month of March 2024.

GVK Seetas — Google review

A historical site will always be top rated for me simply for it being witness of the past and ancient history. The ruins of the barracks and buildings now remain only traces of the majestic fort that it would have once been. The view of the sea and river from the fort is breathtaking spectacular specially at sunset. Wish the ruins could speak and tell us tales of grandeur.

Pallavi Parab — Google review

In North Goa, Chapora Fort is a true beauty! The ascent is well worth it for the magnificent views of the Arabian Sea and the surrounding countryside that one gets from the summit of the fort.Google images led me to the conclusion that the sunset at Chapora Fort is quite breathtaking. Its a photographer's paradise. I arrived here around lunchtime, so I was unable to witness the sunset.

vikram aadithyan — Google review

The fort is in the top of the mountain. Little walk to reach to the top of the fort. Kids enjoyed playing, they were playing with the rocks. Nice view of Vagator beach from the fort. If you come in the evening you will get a good sunset view for lots of pics and you can enjoy more. We went to a place that we can make our memories in the fort. Fort closes at 5 pm so make sure you reach before 5. There are small shops which sell coconuts , water bottles and other snacks. We ate Guava and drank coconut water while coming back.Fort is fully ruined only the outer wall is present.

Vivek Kumar — Google review

Took a trip to Chapora Fort and was blown away by the stunning views! The fort itself is rich in history, and the panoramic vistas of the Arabian Sea are breathtaking. A must-visit for anyone exploring Goa's cultural heritage.

Arambol Beach, located in the small village of Arambol in Goa, is a hidden gem waiting to be explored. This beach offers golden sands, gentle waves, and visitor facilities such as eateries and snack stands. Known for its lively flea market, hippie culture, and exciting nightlife, Arambol Beach also provides opportunities for adventure sports like paragliding and kitesurfing.

This is the best beach for those who are searching beach with less crowd and clean water. Less crowd and many foreigners, with great beauty and scenery. Lots of good shacks are here for your Drinks and food. Parasailing activity is also available. You will really enjoy the beach while playing. No sudden depths. There is sweet water lake attached to beach kindly visit it.

One of our favourite beaches in North Goa. Water looks clear blue from a distance, and so clean. Beach shacks are also nice. The best part is,you can also hike a little and reach another part of the beach which is more clean and less crowdy.

Aditi Mondal — Google review

The beach is pretty beautiful and quite huge. Great for a walk or sun/sea bathing even. It’s become very crowded in the recent years though. Lots of places for you to eat/drink/chill through the day but the one big problem is the limited number of places with decent or even usable washrooms, so I’d suggest check that before you decide where you’re gonna be sitting down.

Arunima Singh — Google review

It's a beautiful beach ... you will see more Foreigners than Indians in this beach. This beach is the furthest and there are lot of water sports activities that you can do. Paragliding is also done here. The beach sacks are just awesome.... mostly all are good , serving great food. The atmosphere in the evening is so vibrant and suddenly transforms the whole beach to party mode. You just can have drinks, food till the waves touches your feet. You can take a small trek and also visit the small sweet water lake.

Arnab kundu — Google review

Nice, clean beach with a very good stretch from sweet Lake till Morjim. The Sand is clear and the area of the beach is good too. You will find people working-out on the beach during early mornings and evenings.

Its been a month and a half I have moved here. Great place to be at. Renting a house is pretty cheap. Weather is good and of course the beach is your forever companion. Great place to be at.

Angela Radhakrishnan — Google review

One of the best beach of The GOA, gives a delirious feeling while wondering on beach by seeing the beautiful scenery over the horizon that will continue to infinity and So on...In season it will be very crowded..no doubt...But in off season it is like a Blank page on which just the Title of the poem or chapter is written on Page.. there are lots of Bars and restaurant on the beach which will convert in Dance Pub in Night..

Yudhishthir Reshwal — Google review

One my favourite beaches in Goa. The beach is great has nice waves and no stones like Anjuna. You can spend the whole day here. It has a lot of nice shacks for food drinks and sunbathing. Towards evening you get ice creams shops, some fire shows, live match screenings. It does not have the party atmosphere hence it's more relaxing. Also the beach has many playful dogs.

deepak singh — Google review

Im a regular visitor to this place from 2000 and this is one of the beaches I like in Goa ..Recently I felt like this place lost its old charm .Now it's over crowded just like other famous beached around .. but its the same situation almost everywhere.. and its not going to change .. so can't complaint about it .You can find some decent restaurants , tattoo , clothes and souvenir shops in the main street .

Rafeeq Zakaaria — Google review

A clean less crowded beach on north goa. It has its own charm and never disappoints you. It has a small hillside called arambol mountain and a shopping lane. The lane further leads to yet another small lagoon where there is a sweet water lake right next to beach. View from hillside shacks is breathtaking especially sunset.

Yuvraj Pingale — Google review

Its one of the beautiful beach 🏖 in the North Goa. Do not skip this beach at any cost. Must visit here. 60-70 percent crowd here are foreigners. You'll feel like you came to out of India. Water is clean and beach 🏖 is also clean. Crowd is good.

Well I was lucky enough to witness the best sunset of my life till date even after visiting various countries I never found this calmness in the sky and ocean this beach was have a unforgettable time of my life so I loved it.

JYOTI SINGH — Google review

Very serene and nice beach. Was a bit crowded on weekend even in off season. The best spot to view the sunset is through the market road which goes to sweet water lake. There's a corner right turn through the market. Which is exactly in front of the rocks. The rocks can be sighted from the beach too. I found this spot the best to view sunset. Some people were climbing the rocks. The rocks look very rough and sharp. So be careful before trying any stunt. A small injury can ruin your entire trip. So be wise. Thanks🌹.

Shashi — Google review

This beach is located in the northern part of Goa and is very beautiful and clean as compared to the other North Goa beaches. A lane on the left side from the main road leads to the parking area of the beach and then from there a narrow alley leads to the beach. Parking space is abundant and you'll have to pay 50 rupees for parking. Shacks and small food stalls are present both in the parking area and on the beach.

Kalpan Chaudhury — Google review

Most peaceful beach. Less crowded. You can enjoy the beach and have some chilled in near by restaurant.

Amboli Water Falls is the best sight in Amboli Ghat. Its very pleasant and scenic during the rainy season. However in dry season, its like any other normal waterfall. Amboli is very beautiful during rainy season when its green everywhere and water flows from everywhere onto the roads.

Beautiful water falls, just by the road, it's safe but lot of monkeys around , snatching eatables right out of your hand

Amazing waterfall i have ever seen, must visit place in konkan, no trekking required and there lots of crowd on weekends and holidays. Best to witness mountain, waterfall, ghat and most beautiful foggy climate. It feels like heaven 😻

Manisha Waghmare — Google review

Beautiful and safe waterfall, no trekking required, only few steps to climb to reach up to the waterfall. During monsoon those steps are also filled with water and the view is breathtaking. Currently its raining very less and hence no water over the steps.

Vishmita Shetty — Google review

Good place. There is a huge waterfall in ghat section. The place is cool and feels as we are far away from city.

AmboliThe breathtaking Amboli Waterfalls is located in the hill station of Amboli in south Maharashtra in India. This incredibly high waterfall is surrounded by numerous other waterfalls as well, and the sight of the falling water and the surrounding greenery add to the beauty and charm of the already mesmerising place. Since the beauty of the falls cannot be enjoyed throughout the year, the excitement and curiosity to witness this magical waterfall becomes doubled, and couples, children, groups of friends, as well as families, have a gala time at the Amboli Waterfalls.

Rock Buddy — Google review

It is just the best place in the monsoon season the water flow is nice and the crowd is low the water will flow in steps and it will be amazing to step up there. The water is very chill and cold the view is very nice and beautiful from amboli waterfalls

This is one of the must visit waterfalls during monsoon. I have visited it a couple of times. There is a lot of crowd during holidays and weekends. The highway is always blocked due to traffic.Be careful and keep a check on the rains if you are planning to visit during monsoon as there are cases of landslides every year.As of today 15th of August, there isnt much water due to scarcity of rainfall this year. However, its still a beautiful waterfalls amid the lush green forests of Amboli ghats.

Preeti Patil — Google review
