  HENSOLDT has signed a contract with Space Centre Australia (SCA) to deliver two of our high-performance ASR-NG systems, short for Air Surveillance Radar - Next Generation. This comes along with a 20-year sustainment plan to bolster Australia's critical air surveillance capabilities. The total order volume of the initial phase is worth around 20 million euros, with delivering the two radars by the end of 2026 and starting sustainment services up from 2027.The primary radar of the ASR-NG offers a special signal processing technology for long-range airspace surveillance and the suppression of false signals from wind turbines, enabling the safe guidance of all aircraft within a radius of 120 NM and up to altitudes of 50,000 feet.   We had the privilege of hosting Her Excellency Beate Grzeski, the German Ambassador to Australia, at our office on August 30th.Her Excellency Grzeski was accompanied by Colonel Carsten Knorr, German Defence Attache to Australia and Mr Johannes Woermann, German Counsellor Defence Materiel to Australia.It was an enriching experience to engage in insightful discussions on Naval and Airborne radars, Space Domain Awareness and the importance of country support.This visit highlights the growing collaboration between Australia and Germany, and we are excited about the opportunities to further strengthen the ties between our two nations.A big thank you to the Ambassador and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Australia’ team for taking the time to visit us and explore potential areas of cooperation.Looking forward to continued partnerships and shared success!#InternationalCollaboration #Innovation #HENSOLDT

  🚀Exciting Milestone Achieved!🚀We are thrilled to announce that has delivered the ASR-NG (Air Surveillance Radar Next Generation) as anewAirTraffic Control (ATC)sensor systeminto operational service at the Army Aviation Centre Oakey. This marks a key achievement for the AIR5431 Phase 2 program, which is focused on upgrading Australia’s Defence Air Traffic Systems at fixed bases across the country.These state-of-the-art systems will enhance surveillance coverage for fixed-base flying operations and support the National Air Traffic Management Surveillance Infrastructure Plan (NASIP).
