Hello, my name is Ken Schmidt.  After living in Colorado for over 20 years my wife and I decided to move to the Phoenix area.  We had gotten tired of the cold, snowy Winters so in 2004 we made the move and Love Arizona.  I have been involved in both contracting and real estate for the last 20+ years.  I have also played golf since the age of twelve and have played many of the golf courses here in the Valley.  I’m not a great golfer, but I’m not bad either. I carry a handicap of around 20. In 2003 I was a partner in a fairly large commercial painting/drywall Company out of Denver Colorado(I sold out in 2004 and moved to Phoenix). We purchased most of our paint from The Sherwin Williams Paint Co. and in April of 2003 they took us on one of their corporate jets to The Masters in Augusta, it was truly the trip of a lifetime!! We played golf two days in a row at an Aiken, SC country club and then went to The Masters on Sunday to watch Mike Weir win in a sudden death playoff. It was an unbelievable trip!!
